Somatic Release
Emotional energy, such as anger or sadness, can end up being stored in the body as physical tension or even chronic pain, as many of us spend time in environments where expressing difficult emotions is discouraged, such as at work or even at home. As a result we may end up with chronic anxiety, chronic pain, or chronic depression and have no idea why.
Somatic release (also known as somatic therapy) is a simple and effective way to explore difficult emotions in a safe and supportive environment.
I provide somatic release sessions using sound bowls, guided meditation, bodywork and the Internal Family Systems model.
Cannabis Ceremonies
From the Center For Medicinal Mindfulness:
Did you know that when cannabis is used intentionally and skillfully, it is just as potent as other psychedelic medicines in therapeutic settings?
Clients commonly report experiences that are as potent and psychedelic as MDMA, Psilocybin, Ayahuasca and even DMT. Psychedelic Cannabis experiences are perfect for people who are curious about psychedelics but don’t know where to start. They’re also great for experienced psychonauts seeking to deepen their psychedelic practice.
Cannabis is a safe and sacred medicinal tool which supports us in turning inward, resolving tensions stored deep within the body, tracking inner sensations, and releasing traumas from the nervous system. Cannabis-Assisted Psychedelic Therapy is different than “getting high.” When used in an intentional container with a professionally trained psychedelic guide, this modality deepens the healing and transformational process and makes somatic (body-centered) trauma work more efficient and more effective.
During these sessions we use a psychedelic cannabis blend, made by combining three or more strains of hybrid, sativa, and indica- this maximizes the benefits of cannabis such as enhanced body awareness and visualization, while reducing unwanted side effects, such as brain fog and anxiety.
Cannabis has been instrumental in processing and releasing my own childhood trauma. I highly recommend it for this purpose.
Clients frequently report:
Extreme body awareness
Active and very visual imaginal experiences and deep connection with intuition
A feeling of being very present in the room and with the therapist
Remaining in control and lucid for the whole experience
Profound new levels of nervous system regulation and trauma resolution
Developing a sense of agency in life, feeling more in control of life situations and having more choice
Feeling a deeper connection with a sense of purpose
WHO IS PSYCHEDELIC CANNABIS FOR?
Experienced psychonauts who are curious about psychedelic cannabis and want to experience it.
People new to psychedelics who want to journey with a powerful and safe medicine.
People who have tried traditional therapies and have not been satisfied with the results.
People who are suffering from depression, PTSD, anxiety, trauma, and feelings of meaninglessness.
Psilocybin Ceremonies
From CNN:
Small clinical trials that have shown that one or two doses of psilocybin, given in a therapeutic setting, can make dramatic and long-lasting changes in people suffering from treatment-resistant major depressive disorder, which typically does not respond to traditional antidepressants.
Based on this research, the US Food and Drug Administration has described psilocybin as a breakthrough medicine.
Psilocybin is also showing promise in combating cluster headaches, anxiety, anorexia, obsessive-compulsive disorder and various forms of substance abuse.
“The data are strong from depression to PTSD to cluster headaches, which is one of the most painful conditions I’m aware of,” said neurologist Richard Isaacson, director of the Alzheimer’s Prevention Clinic in the Center for Brain Health at Florida Atlantic University.
Clients frequently report:
Open and closed-eye visuals
Deep connection with intuition and subconscious
Altered perception of reality
Intense emotion
Recovered memories and personal insight
Feeling a deep connection to all living things
PSYCHEDELICS ARE NOT FOR EVERYONE
Individuals with a mental health diagnosis such as schizophrenia, borderline personality, and severe bipolar should not take psychedelics.
People suffering acute and recent trauma such as divorce, death, or a serious diagnosis should wait until they are relatively emotionally stable and have some distance from the event.
People who are currently suicidal or extremely mentally unstable should not take psychedelics.
People on psychiatric or other contraindicated pharmaceutical medication must be able to temporarily halt their use before taking psychedelics.
If you can’t handle the possibility that whatever you are feeling right now may be temporarily intensified, you should not take psychedelics.
I can personally attest to the power of psilocybin as having cured my own depression, anxiety and narcolepsy (a sleep disorder). Learn more about how I became a psychedelic guide.
Please note: I do not provide or sell illegal substances.
Please check with your state or country’s laws regarding psychedelic medicine.
